Switching Rooms

This picture says a lot, but it doesn’t show our bed set up in the living room.

It’s hard to believe that three months have passed since I’ve written. Being pregnant and having a now 11 month old has been an adjustment for sure. I’m not even sure where to start…

Here goes! We decided that it would be best for us to share the bedroom with the office not the soon to be two babies. We began by moving EVERYTHING out of our bedroom and putting it in the living room/kitchen.

The best part was that we thought a fresh coat of paint would be nice too, so off we went to pick out new colors for each room. For the nursery we chose a nice neutral yellow and for our new bedroom a creamy white with an accent wall called “Mexican Chili” ( I think you can visualize it better with the name).

The painting began quickly and by the following day we had one room completely done. We added some animal decals which has made the room even better. We are having a girl this time,  so I will need to add some pink somewhere! The other picture is of the accent wall which we picked to match our duvet cover (which we now will have to match any new duvet to the wall). That is where we are now in the decorating department. It’s time to find a crib and “girly” up the place. I can hear Thomas stirring from his nap so it’s park time for us.

Happy Monday!
